I am sure that everyone is aware that there are new emission requirements and regulation changes set for the 2011 model year. These new requirements have a .
Due to the unique nature of the T-Series truck, significant incremental investments in engineering and tooling are required to meet the new emission guidelines. Given the funding constraints GM is currently operating under and due to the low and declining sales volume of the T-Seri es, GM is unable to make the investment required to meet the new emission requirements with a satisfactory rate of return.
As a result of these factors, production of the T-Series trucks will be discontinued at the end of the 2010 model year.
We currently anticipate the final order date for T-Series to be at the end of September, 2009. Please work closely with your customers to assess their vehicle needs and secure final orders for T-Series trucks as quickly as possible. We will provide you with further information as soon as an exact end of production date is established

New 2010 Ford Mustang, 1st one in Seattle!

Wow is this one a fun car to drive, fast too. I have had a few mustangs in the past and was really impressed. I have to say this one drives nice, shifts smooth and sounds fantastic. The GT Mustang I drove had the 3.73 gears and Electronics PKG and Comfort package 19" wheels, Leather, Heated seats, Sirius radio, spoiler. The interior is so nice compared to Mustangs in the past. I should know I have been selling these for 14 years and owner of several over the years.

You have to come check this car out. Plus we will have several Mustangs here from all years here for the 45th Birthday party Saturday April 18th here at Ford of Kirkland.

Today I had the chance to take the first test drive around our Ford dealership in a Hybrid Fusion, I took a short drive and yet was very impressed. I'm sure the next owner will be impressed with the new standard for performance and fuel economy Ford put into this car. 41 City, 36 HWY.

Wow what a great car. Quiet and smooth ride, felt like it has more power than 175 Horse power (13 more than Ford's last Hybrid Engine) and I was able to cruise at 43 mpg on the 275 volt (Ni-MH0) battery. Ford boast it can do 47 on Electric and with time I'm sure this is a reality. We have been offered just a few and I would guess these will be sold out soon. Check with your tax accountant as you will get great tax benefits with the purchase of this vehicle.

We even have the AWD Sport with the new 3.5 DOHC V6 with 266 HP and 6 speed transmission or the 3.0 DOHC with 240 HP.

All new Ford Fusion Hybrid for 2010

Aside from the power train, the new Fusion Hybrid is virtually the same as a Fusion SEL, which is to say it's been substantially upgraded from the original model. The exterior styling has been freshened to improve aerodynamics and give the Fusion a wider look.

On the road, the Fusion Hybrid is serenely quiet and the drive train is so sophisticated that it's difficult to discern when the gasoline engine kicks in and out. Handling is secure and the ride is comfortable

Most noticeable are the interior styling changes, with redesigned seats and extensive use of upscale soft-touch materials, which together fashion a substantial, near-luxury ambiance. The front seats are big, deep and supportive and the outboard back seats also offer decent comfort, though not an excess of knee or head room. The center-rear position is impossibly cramped.

Specifications for the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid four-door sedan

Engines: Electric motor with 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, total of 191 horsepower.

Transmission: Continuously variable.

Overall length: 14 feet 11 inches.

EPA passenger/trunk volume: 100/12 cubic feet.

Weight: 3,720 pounds.

EPA city/highway fuel consumption: 41/36 miles per gallon.

Point of interest a four-cylinder gasoline-powered version that, in its own right, delivers 23 city and 34 highway.

Full safety equipment, with stability and traction control, is included along with such items as Ford's Sync voice-activated communications and entertainment system, leather upholstery, automatic climate control and 17-inch aluminum wheels.

With some other options that included a navigation system with some other cool features, Ford Blind spot system and reverse sensing and a motorized sunroof makes this one cool car.

The Fusion's regenerative braking system, which recovers up to 94 percent of braking energy (the electric motor does the bulk of the braking, turning into a generator and using the recovered power to recharge the battery pack). Thus brake pads are expected to last three to five times longer.

Ford stacked the battery pack behind the rear seat. That still allows for a large trunk. The "battery" actually is 208 individual cells the size of a household 'D' cell.

The Fusion can reach 47 mph on electric power alone – provided you have the right touch on the throttle.

You don't feel the gasoline engine kick in or cut out because of the powertrain control module is calibrated to ease the transition.

Oil change intervals are expected to be at 10,000 miles because the engine does only half the work in this hybrid configuration.

The Fusion Hybrid is a complete car, with some advantages over the competition. Like the Prius and Camry, its hybrid system has an electric motor boosted by a gasoline engine in this case, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder. With both motors working together, the output is 191 horsepower, driving the front wheels through a continuously variable automatic transmission.

The styling is more macho, the interior a bit nicer, the engines slightly more powerful, mileage an average of 8% better, and the ride noticeably smoother. The company also added a number of cool new features while maintaining the F-150's enormous number of combinations of features, bed lengths, cabin sizes, and four-wheel versus rear-wheel drive.

Ford claims the F-150 is now the safest truck in its class. The '09 earned five-star government crash-test ratings in every category except rollovers, where it got only three stars. It comes standard with stability and traction control, antilock brakes, and a full complement of airbags, including head-protecting side curtain bags.

DETROIT--Ford Motor Co. wants to use social-networking sites such as Facebook to generate buzz for its new Fiesta subcompact. But it will rely on company outsiders to get the early word out. Although the Fiesta doesn't go on sale in the United States until early next year, Ford is putting the car in the hands of 100 Internet-savvy consumers for long-term test drives beginning in April.

The consumers, who will be chosen after applying at www.fiestamovement.com, will then relate their experiences through social networking sites such as Facebook, Flickr, and YouTube.

OK, let's just get it out there: The 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid is the best gasoline-electric hybrid yet.
What makes it best is a top-drawer blend of an already very good midsize sedan with the industry's smoothest, best-integrated gas-electric power system. It's so well-done that you have to look to the $107,000 Lexus LS 600h hybrid to come close. Fusion's $28,000 starting price is more or less in reach, the driving feel is good, and the interior has a premium look and feel.
There are three facets to consider in evaluating a gasoline-electric hybrid: the underlying vehicle itself, the hybrid system and the mileage.
